This upgrade improves and fills the gap in the Assassin's Creed: Black Flag series with the all-metal Hidden Blade. Three different control mechanisms have been designed under the same appearance, meeting the diverse needs of all users for the Hidden Blade functionality.

Dual Action Hidden Blade: A metal line controls the blade; pulling it causes the blade to extend, and pulling it again retracts the blade.

Locking Hidden Blade: The blade automatically extends when your palm opens and retracts when your palm closes.

Dual-Trigger Hidden Blade: Pulling the metal line causes the blade to extend, but to retract it, you must press the metal plate beneath the blade.
